New Belfast To Menorca Flights

Jet2.com have launched new flights to Menorca from Belfast. They say it will mean more people on both sides of the Irish border will now have a choice of flying to Menorca from either Dublin or Belfast.

Balearics Lead Half Term Bookings

Travel agents are reporting that Mallorca has secured more bookings for the late October half term break than any other destination from the UK.

Other popular areas for British autumn holidays include the Costa del Sol, and for long haul destinations New York leads the way.

Reports in the Spanish press say that Grand Prix driver Fernando Alonso has turned down an invitation to spend a few days crusing around the Mediterranean on a yacht with McLaren boss, Ron Dennis and team-mate, Lewis Hamilton.
The yacht, which is owned by Mansour Ojjeh - who is the father of Hamilton's girlfriend - is currently moored off Menorca.
